The Warning Signs Project

The REACH (The Resource for Advancing Children’s Health) Institute recently developed a toolkit for detecting warning signs of potentially serious educational, mental, or behavioral difficulty.  The toolkit includes warning signs of ADHD, bipolar, conduct disorder, depression, eating disorders, suicide, and substance abuse.  The toolkit provides a bibliography of books, a list of helpful websites, and listings of advocacy and professional organizations.  The toolkit also contains useful instructions geared toward patients who may be experiencing warning signs.

Interesting, but when I downloaded the toolkit document, it was password protected. There was a long report on the methodology used to create the toolkit, but I couldn't figure out what the conclusion was. Have they ever published it elsewhere?

The Warning Signs Project is really a wonderful reference. When you open the document, it will ask you for a password to change the document or you have the option of opening “Read Only”. Please click on “Read Only”, and the document will open for you.
